From security cameras and smart homes to intelligent cockpits, we leverage Lextar Electronics’ IR/VCSEL and ToF (Time-of-Flight) technologies to emit infrared light in the 800–900 nm range. Compared to traditional circular light sources, our rectangular lighting system which enhanced with batwing optics, delivering superior image uniformity, significantly reducing dark areas on the sides, and achieving optimal red-light suppression (minimizing red burst at wavelengths below 880 nm).

High-precision facial recognition, behavioral analysis, and clear nighttime imaging can be achieved in surveillance systems, with effective detection ranges from 1.5 m to 10 m. Integrated high-power infrared modules and Lextar’s advanced 2D/3D sensing support a wide variety of applications in vehicle displays from monitoring drivers to passenger cabins. This includes gesture recognition, behavior analysis (e.g., nodding or eye-closing frequency), line-of-sight tracking, seatbelt detection, and departure position recognition.

By integrating Nordic Semiconductor and Reed Bluetooth modules with external connections, additional features such as screen mirroring and audio playback can be supported. These modules also enable reception of Bluetooth signals from vehicle control systems, allowing display content to be switched or adjusted dynamically.
